Aside from the band. Mats is based in Oslo, where he is constantly occupied—playing with some of the top rock, pop and hip-hop artists in Norway.
This episode is with Ben Cohen. Ben plays guitar for Video Game Metal band Powerglove, as well as modern progressive metal band Lattermath. Powerglove tours the US and Canada regularly with bands such as Dragonforce, Symphony X, and Sonata Arctica. They’ve played on the Summer Slaughter Tour, appeared at video game, anime and comic conventions and recently appeared on the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise. Ben is a Berklee College of Music alumnus and is currently based in Los Angeles, where he also does session work and gigs. As an educator, Ben has taught lessons, clinics, and rock band classes for over 17 years.
